At Bois Joli, enjoy an exceptional moment at the edge of our 3000m² lagoon. Sand and turquoise water naturally filtered by sand and UV rays. It's like at the beach but right next to your accommodation. The perfect place to put your towel.
But that's not all! Our aquatic area also has a covered and heated indoor swimming pool from April to September as well as an outdoor swimming pool.
Among all our equipment and activities on the campsite, a mini-farm on the Savane theme will also delight young and old alike. And boules pitches for a bit of fun.
We had the pleasure of welcoming several clubs and sports car enthusiasts, ranging from the legendary MGs of the 1920s to the iconic Ferraris. You will find real experts near the campsite!
If you leave St Malo, you can go to the magnificent motor museum (and circuit) in Loheac near Rennes, taking the B roads so you can drive at your own pace! After the visit, have lunch in the neighboring village or stop by the pretty village of Rochefort en Terre. In the same region, north of the Loire, also visit La Gacilly and the ancient fortified town of Guérande.
Then, get back on the road and come and recharge your batteries with us, at Camping Le Bois Joli. We are located between Pornic and Noirmoutier, in the commune of Bois de Céné, in the heart of lush greenery! Enjoy the beautiful walks around the campsite and above all go to the best historical theme park in the world, "Le Puy du Fou", just 1 hour by car from the campsite! You can take a day trip or sleep on site. If you like history, birds of pray and shows, you will be won over. Do not hesitate to come and inquire at reception.
Further east of the campsite, we have many pretty villages to discover depending on your route. With the attached QRCodes, you can plan a day and visit the superb village of Clisson and its impressive castle. Take a walk and take a lunch break at Café Cent-Halls or Villa Toto.
For a longer trip, Loches (and who knows maybe bump into Mick Jagger there!). You can also visit Poitiers and its famous Parc Le Futuroscope, which focuses on cinema and audiovisual shows. On the coast, you will also find the vintage car museum in Talmont st Hilaire and take advantage of the QR code in the photo to follow our circuit. A very nice walk with wine tasting and lunch break at the Paddle in Brem/mer. In Apremont, park in the car park in the hollow on your right and go up to the bar with a view of the river. Relaxation guaranteed.
In June, every year, there's the Chinon classic car show or the race of the ramparts in Angoulème in September, a big attraction for Bugatti's!
Following the Loire, to the East, we recommend the Châteaux de la Loire. They are located a good 2 hours drive from the campsite but are ideally located on the return road to the port. Especially Château de Chambord, Take advantage of this getaway to visit Amboise and its magnificent monuments.
At Camping Le Bois Joli we can recommend many days out depending on how long you want to drive and what you would like to do for lunch or visit a place of interest.
Most of the directions we offer are created using Google maps and QR codes, which will make your trip easier. Do not hesitate to scan the QR codes attached in the photo.
Whether it is an overnight stay in La Rochelle or a day outing with lunch and wine tasting then returning to sleep at the campsite, we can offer you meals in our Snack Bar.
In our village of Bois de Céné, we have a Bar/Tabac, le Cénéen which also does lunches during the week as well as a creperie, the Crêperie du Parc, open depending on the season. A few minutes around the campsite, we also have many addresses of good restaurants, we can advise you and take reservations.
For wine lovers, we are lucky to have good vineyards in our region: they all organize free tastings. It will be better to book if you visit in a group.
The campsite is not far from the coast, offering you many outings and circuits along the Atlantic with spots to stop for a coffee, lunch or just walk and enjoy the beautiful landscapes!
Near the Camping we have a classic car showroom and a repair garage specializing in old British cars. Right next door is a bar and sandwich shop, a small park, a lake. A lovely 3km walk from the campsite via an ancient abbey (l'île Chauvet), perfect for stretching your legs!
There is no shortage of activities around the campsite. you can even treat yourself and enjoy an hour of karting just 15 minutes from us.
At Bois Joli, we speak English and we are always available to answer your questions. We also have English residents (people with their own mobile home on the campsite), who will be happy to provide you with information.
We hope to have the chance to welcome you to Bois Joli and we will try to adapt your stay to your tour. Even after your stay, we can offer you ideas for stopovers or sites to discover on the way back to the ferry, a stop at the Le Mans Museum for example; a night in the old town of Vitré or the Normandy beaches that we recommend.
