Our general conditions of sale apply to all reservations, without exception, for a rental or pitch within Camping Le Bois Jolie located 2 rue de Châteauneuf, 85710 BOIS DE CÉNÉ, on our website https://www.camping-leboisjoli.com or by telephone on 02 51 68 20 05 (price of a local call depending on operator), postal mail or electronic mail (emails). We ask that the customer read our General Conditions of Sale in detail below. By validating their reservation, the customer undertakes to respect and fully adhere to our General Conditions of Sale. Camping Le Bois Joli reserves the right to modify them at any time. In all cases, the version applicable to the customer will be the one they received when booking. The main information about our services as well as these general conditions of sale are indicated on our website: https://www.camping-leboisjoli.com, it is the sole responsibility of the customer to choose and reserve one of our services.
 
1. THE RESERVATION
The reservation becomes effective upon receipt of payment of the deposit or as soon as an agreement is reached with the campsite for payment followed by confirmation by email from us. All reservations must be accompanied by the reservation contract to be downloaded from our website: Reservation contract, and to send it to us at our address Camping Le Bois Joli – 2 rue de Châteauneuf – 85710 BOIS DE CÉNÉ or by Email (contact@campingleboisjoli.fr). The reservation request must be accompanied by a deposit of 30% of the rental cost + management fees, non-refundable + optional cancellation guarantee, non-refundable. The balance of the stay must be paid no later than 30 days before the start date of the stay at the campsite. The deposit will be deducted from the balance of the stay. The balance of the stay remains due in full to the campsite in the event of cancellation of the stay. For all reservations less than 30 days before arrival and for all short stays (1 to 5 nights): the full amount of the stay will be required. The prices applied are firm and correspond to those in force on the date of signing the contract.

The campsite reserves the right to study the request before accepting or refusing it. For reasons of safety (aquatic area, evacuation of the campsite in the event of an alert, etc.) and health (hospitalization, etc.), minors unaccompanied by their legal representatives, within the meaning of article 389 of the Civil Code, are not admitted. In addition, the campsite is not authorized, within the meaning of decree 2002-883 of May 3, 2002, to provide collective or individual stays outside the family home of minors under the age of 18, unaccompanied by one of their representatives. legal. As for minors accompanied by their legal representatives, they are placed under the sole responsibility of the latter and must under no circumstances be left unsupervised within the campsite (water park included). Rentals: Rentals are rented and insured for a number of people and length of stay determined in advance. Once validated, this information is firm. For insurance and security reasons, it is strictly forbidden to exceed the maximum capacity of the accommodation (depending on rental) or the pitch (6 people). OBLIGATION TO DECLARE THE NAMES AND AGES OF THE STAY PARTICIPANTS (including children and babies). Any change in the number of people or participants must be reported to reception BEFORE your arrival and will only be validated after receiving approval from the campsite. In the event of people not registered on the reservation contract but present during the stay a supplement of €12/additional person/day will be required (subject to not exceeding the maximum capacity of the accommodation in which case the campsite is entitled to deny access). Any inaccurate declaration on the reservation form, in particular the number of people declared for the duration of the stay, will result in the immediate interruption of the stay and all sums paid will remain with the campsite.
Capacity: Mobile homes in the “Privilege 2 bedrooms” range are subject to a supplement of €12.00/person/night for the 5th and 6th person. Mobile homes in the “Privilege 3 bedrooms” range are subject to a supplement of €12.00/person/night for the 7th and 8th person. These supplements apply in the case of rental during low periods (April 5, 2025 to July 5, 2025 and from August 30, 2025 to October 5, 2025)
 
 
Pitches: The same conditions apply. It is strongly recommended that you indicate the dimensions of your tent or caravan. The campsite will not be held responsible for changes in dimensions between the date of booking and arrival at the campsite and for the impossibility of settling on site if the size of the equipment has not been indicated.
It is the customer's responsibility to check the accuracy of their booking and to report any errors to the campsite. In case of changes to the reservation, they will be made within the limits of availability and feasibility.
 
Under no circumstances will the renter be allowed to stay in the campsite after the end of the rental period.
 
The communication media are non-contractual. Any document other than these General Terms and Conditions of Sale (in particular catalogues, leaflets, advertisements, brochures, posters, notices) is for informational and indicative purposes only, not contractual. The plans and photos of the rental accommodation are given for illustrative purposes only. Room layout and features may vary from model to model. It is advisable to refer to the written description of the layout available on the accommodation section of the campsite's website in order to know the exact composition of each type of rental accommodation. If you have any questions, our reception team is at your disposal at 02.51.68.20.05 (price of a local call depending on the operator).
 
It may happen that some activities and facilities offered by the campsite (directly or through service providers) such as wifi or elements of the water park, included in the description, are removed. In particular for climatic reasons or in case of force majeure, or do not operate, especially in the early and late season. The campsite cannot be held liable. The Campsite will inform the customer of any work/hazards/adjustments undertaken during the stay.
 
2. VACAF LABELING  (social assistance during vacation)
We are VACAF certified. Under no circumstances are we attached to the VACAF service. We are independent and work in partnership with VACAF services. We take care of registering and validating the AVF (Family Holiday Allowance) via the internet and the VACAF service (depending on the funds available). Important: Please provide us with your beneficiary number when booking and your postcode, otherwise your application will not be processed. We are not responsible for your eligibility for AVF or AVS. It is the customer's responsibility to pay, using one of the payment methods indicated in the article Payment methods, the amount of the balance of their stay at least 30 days before their arrival. The campsite reserves the right to consider the booking as cancelled and the terms of the article Cancellation conditions will apply. In case of cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the stay, the full amount of the stay 100% including the share of the AVF or AVS will be required.
 
 
3.       PREFERENCES 
The campsite does not guarantee any special requests made when making a reservation (pitch number, seating preference or other, etc.). When you make your reservation, a pitch number is assigned to you according to the optimization of our schedule by our software. However, this pitch number is not contractual and will not be communicated to you before your arrival. The pitch of your mobile home is only final on the day of your arrival at the campsite.
 
4. TOURIST TAXES
 
Tourist taxes instituted by the Municipality (i.e. €0.45/adult/day) are not included in our rates. They are collected per person over 18 years of age and per day, throughout the opening period of the campsite.
 
5. PAYMENT TERMS
 
For the payment of the deposit and balance of your stay: we accept payments by credit card, ANCV holiday vouchers, bank cheque, bank transfer and postal order. Cheques payable to Camping Le Bois Joli are no longer accepted less than 45 days before the start of the stay or on site. For bank transfers, a copy of the transfer must be sent to the campsite and must mention the booking number.
 
For payments in instalments: only payments by cheque and direct debit are accepted. A written agreement on the duration and amount of the monthly payments is established between the campsite and the customer. Failure to pay will result in a late payment penalty that will be added to your next direct debits. In case of late payment and after 3 reminders from the campsite, the reservation will be cancelled and the entire stay will be due (including the share of the AVF)
 
 
Additional information on credit card payments: Cartes Bleues, Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard are accepted. American Express cards are not accepted. The transaction is immediately debited from the Client's credit card after verification of the Client's credit details. In accordance with Article L.132-2 of the French Monetary and Financial Code, the commitment to pay and give by means of a payment card is irrevocable. By providing their credit card information, either online or by phone, the customer authorises the campsite to charge their credit card for the amount of the deposit or the entire stay. To this end, the customer confirms that he is the holder of the bank card to be debited and that the name on his bank card is indeed his/her own.
 
On-site payments: at the campsite only payments by credit card (mentioned above), cash, ANCV holiday vouchers are accepted. Bank check are not accepted on site.
 
6. PROMOTIONAL OFFERS & Partner Benefits Promotional offers are subject to certain conditions and cannot be combined with each other or retroactively, unless otherwise stated. Promotional offers cannot be applied to a booking that has already been paid for in whole or in part. On these occasions, it is possible that guests have paid different prices for the same stay. Customers who have paid the highest price will not be entitled to a refund of the difference between the price they paid and the promotional price. To benefit from a partner benefit, the customer must prove the benefit of the benefit in accordance with the provisions set out with the campsite. Holders of partner benefits must be holders of the stay. The campsite will check the applicability of the offer. In case of fraud, the amount of the discount will be claimed from the customer.
 
7. CANCELLATION WITHDRAWAL CONDITIONS
 
We strongly recommend that you take out cancellation insurance to benefit from the reimbursement of the costs of the stay (according to the general terms and conditions of the insurance – the management fees of the establishment and the amount of the cancellation insurance are non-refundable). This insurance is optional and represents 4% of the cost of the stay (excluding management fees and tourist tax) with a minimum flat rate of €20. The full general cancellation conditions are available on request or can be consulted online at Campez Couvert or on the campsite's website in the cancellation insurance section.
 
In case of cancellation by the customer or no-show, no refund will be possible by the campsite since the latter has offered to subscribe to the cancellation insurance. In case of cancellation more than 30 days before the start of the stay, 30% of the amount of the stay will be due to the campsite as well as the booking fees recorded. In case of cancellation less than 30 days before the start of the stay, the full amount of the stay (100% including the share of the AVF) will be required. The cancellation invoice will only be given to the customer after full payment of the cancellation fee (30% or 100% according to the explanation above).
 
 
Right of withdrawal: The consumer does not have a right of withdrawal in accordance with Article L. 221-28 of the Consumer Code, which provides that: The right of withdrawal may not be exercised for contracts: 12 Provision of accommodation services, other than residential accommodation, transport of goods, car rentals,  catering or recreational activities that are to be provided on a specified date or period.
 
8. ARRIVAL / DEPARTURES :
 
When you arrive at the campsite, please check in at the reception before 6pm. 
Pitches: Arrivals are between 14:00 and 18:00 and check-out before 12:00.
 
Rentals: arrivals are between 15:00 and 18:00 and departure before 10:00 am (no appointment required)
 
In case of late arrival, please notify us before 6 p.m. on 02 51 68 20 05: in the absence of a message, the pitch becomes vacant 24 hours after the arrival date mentioned in the contract.  No arrivals will be accepted after 9pm. In case of late arrival, you will have to go to the reception the next morning for check-in, otherwise we will not be able to accept your stay on the campsite. No discounts or refunds will be given in the event of a delayed arrival or early departure.
 
9. INVENTORY / CHECK OUT
 
On arrival at the campsite, the inventory of fixtures is carried out by the customer. Any problem related to the accommodation (missing object, breakage, cleanliness) must be reported in writing and submitted to the reception desk during the day.  Check-out is made without an inventory of fixtures no later than 10 a.m., the keys must be returned before 10 a.m. at the reception or in the box provided for this purpose at the entrance of the reception.  Departure without an inventory of fixtures: After your departure, the members of our cleaning team will check the general condition and cleanliness of the rental and will give their agreement to the destruction of your security deposit (cheque or credit card number) a confirmation email will be sent to you. Your deposit cheque can be returned to you by mail, in which case please provide us with a stamped envelope.
 
10. SECURITY DEPOSIT (deposit)
 
It is €300 for rentals and €150 for bare pitches. This security deposit is our insurance for the respect of the rental facility entrusted to you, the state of cleanliness in which you will return the accommodation to us on your departure, the respect of the instruction not to smoke inside the rentals, the respect of the internal rules: noise pollution in particular. This security deposit does not constitute a limit of liability and may be cashed to cover the costs of repairing the rental if necessary. The withholding of the security deposit does not exclude additional compensation in the event that the costs are greater than the amount of the deposit. The end-of-stay cleaning is the responsibility of the tenant: this cleaning involves leaving the washable mattress pads on the beds and pillows clean (do not remove the cover), wiping down the furniture, shake cushions and mattresses to remove sand, clean the microwave, gas hob, coffee maker, refrigerator (defrost it the day before your departure if necessary), leave the dishes clean and tidy, clean the bathroom completely (sink, shower and toilet), sweep and mop the floor, leave the garden furniture clean and tidy, deposit your garbage bags and respect the sorting indicated in the room provided for this purpose,  Leave the surroundings of the mobile home clean. On your departure if these instructions are not respected, you will be asked for the cost of the cleaning fee (300€). After your departure, the members of our cleaning team will check the general condition and cleanliness of the rental and will give their approval for the destruction of your security deposit (bank check or credit card number). Your deposit cheque can be returned to you by mail, in which case please provide us with a stamped envelope.
 
Insects: Before renting it out, the rental accommodation was regularly cleaned. During the stay, it is the guests who are responsible for this maintenance. If, despite the efforts and regular maintenance of the accommodation, the tenant notices the presence of undesirable insects (such as spiders or ants), it is up to him either to do what is necessary or to notify the campsite so that it can do what is necessary. If, despite the operator's efforts, the problem is not completely resolved, particularly given the configuration of the premises, the operator declines all responsibility and it will be up to the tenant to use, if necessary, certain repellents, for example to keep mosquitoes, bedbugs, etc. away. 
11. COMPLAINTS AND COMPUTER DATA
 
Claims will only be considered if they are dated and signed, accurate and relate to recent events.  
In accordance with the GDPR and our privacy policy, you authorise the campsite to keep your contact details in order to send you commercial information and to facilitate the management of your booking. Your data is kept for 3 years. Under no circumstances will your personal data be passed on to third parties, it will remain strictly confidential and used by the campsite staff only. In case of refusal, simply inform us by post at Camping Le Bois Joli, 2 Rue de Châteauneuf, 85710 Bois de Céné indicating your surname, first name and address.
 
MEDIATION of consumption: In accordance with the provisions of Article L 612-1 of the Consumer Code, any customer of the campsite has the right to have recourse free of charge to a consumer mediator with a view to the amicable resolution of a dispute between him and the operator of the land. 12. IMAGE RIGHT
 
You authorise Le Bois Joli campsite to use photos and videos of you and all the participants in this stay, for the advertising purposes of the campsite (brochure, internet, etc.), without any time limit. Otherwise, please fill in the following attestation: I, the undersigned    ......................................., do not authorise the campsite to have reproduced, published, edited or represented my image and that of all participants appear in this contract, for its advertising purposes.

13.  RESPONSABILITY
 
Le Bois Joli campsite cannot be held liable in the event of:
 
> Theft, loss or damage of any kind, during or as a result of a stay
 
> Fire, inclement weather or other incidents that fall under the campers' civil liability
 
> Breakdown or decommissioning of technical equipment, breakdown or closure of facilities
 
> Damage caused or suffered by vehicles within the campsit
 
The renter is required to cover his civil liability with insurance, a certificate may be requested on arrival. You are reminded that swimming in the campsite's aquatic area remains the sole responsibility of parents or guardians. In the event of a dispute, the competent court will be that of Les Sables d'Olonne.
 
Although the Campsite makes its best effort to maintain an operational service, it cannot offer any guarantee as to the continuity of access to its website and therefore declines all responsibility for any direct and/or indirect damage caused by the impossibility of accessing it in whole or in part or which may arise from the use of the service by an Internet user. Under no circumstances can the campsite be held liable for any damage resulting from a loss of data, and for the campsite having been informed of any risk concerning the use or operation of the site, or for the impossibility of providing the stays that the customer orders from the campsite, including without limitation, damages resulting from error,  omission, viruses, delays or interruptions of service. In the same way, the campsite cannot be held criminally or civilly liable for the consequences resulting from inappropriate or unauthorised use of the website or its content by users or any other third party.
 
 
The campsite cannot be held responsible, as a result of the communication by any third party, of photographs for which they have declared their rights, of false, misleading or erroneous information that would be mentioned in their catalogues or on their websites concerning the campsite, and in particular presentation photos, qualifiers, activities, leisure, services and dates of operation.
 
The campsite cannot be held liable for the non-performance or poor performance of the contract concluded, in the event of fault on the part of the customer, in the event of force majeure or in the unforeseeable and insurmountable event of a third party unrelated to the provision of the services provided for in the contract. In any case, in the event that the campsite is found liable for any reason whatsoever, any compensation will be limited to the amount of the stay.
 
 
14. VIE INTERIEURE :
 
Wearing a wristband is mandatory
 
Aquatic area: Unsupervised. Children must be kept under the supervision of their parents. Due to the strict hygiene rules imposed by the ARS, swim shorts, underwear, wetsuits and long clothes are not allowed in the pools. For men, only swim trunks and swim trunks are allowed and for women, only one-piece or two-piece swimsuits are allowed. To respect this place and the quality of the water, it is forbidden to enter it with shoes, food, balloons, air mattresses, radios and cigarettes.
 
Children's play areas: Children are under the responsibility and supervision of their parents. The playgrounds are closed from 10 p.m. to 10 a.m.
 
Television: the campsite is not responsible for any disruption to the reception of TV channels.
 
Pets: Your pet (less than 10kg / 1 pet per pitch or accommodation) is accepted on a leash at all times, never alone either in the rental or on the pitch and on presentation of the up-to-date vaccination booklet. Identification is mandatory. Dogs of the 1st, 2nd category and NAC (New Pets) are strictly prohibited. Defecations must be made outside the campsite and accidents must be picked up. For obvious reasons of hygiene, they are not allowed in the rooms of the rentals and the aquatic area.
 
Cleanliness: The whole team remains vigilant in terms of hygiene for your well-being as well as the aesthetics of the campsite and its equipment: please respect the cleanliness, hygiene and appearance of the campsite. Parents must keep their children under their supervision, accompany and help them with toilets, showers and avoid playing in toilet blocks. Children should never be alone, especially in the aquatic area, sanitary facilities and playgrounds. Cigarette butts should not be disposed of on the ground but in the bins provided for this purpose. It is your duty to keep the common areas clean.
 
Eco-responsibility: Everyone must take care of their water consumption and adopt eco-responsible gestures.
 
Garbage cans: Leave your garbage bags in the room at the entrance to the campsite. Be vigilant about selective sorting, deposit your glass bottles, packaging and magazines in the containers provided for this purpose.
 
Safety: Electrical appliances (plancha, barbecue, etc.) are prohibited. Only barbecues and gas planchas are allowed, do not use them on the terraces (traces of grease).
 
Silence: There must be total silence between midnight and 7 a.m. Vehicle traffic is limited to 10 km/h and is prohibited in the campsite between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. (access gates are closed between these times). In case of noise or nuisance, the persons responsible will be evicted without refund.
 
Visitors: They are welcome under the responsibility of their hosts, they are requested to present themselves at the reception and pay, if necessary, the fee provided. In any case, their vehicles must be parked outside the campsite and access to the aquatic area is not allowed.
 
Electric car: It is not possible to charge your electric car on your pitch or on the campsite, as no equipment is provided for this purpose.
 
15. THE INTERNAL RULES :
Each tenant undertakes to read and respect the internal rules which are posted at the entrance of the campsite. These regulations have been drawn up, under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism, with the partnership of the Directorate of Competition and Fraud Control, the FFCC, representing users, and the FNHPA, representing the profession.
